If elected I will establish a full-time constituency office within the constituency so that I am available at all times to provide a service to the people of Dublin South Central.
I will fight for:
- Adequate social housing to provide stable homes for our people and to make social housing more accessible to those who are self-employed or in full-time employment.
- A national plan to combat vandalism and anti-social behaviour by increasing Garda resources/personal and C.C.T.V.
- The establishment of a Corruption Assets Bureau to specifically target white collar crime and seize assets of corrupt politicians, bankers and any other state figures.
- Reinstate the mobility grant and reverse cuts to carer’s allowance.
- The introduction of a home security grant for those with a disability and O.A.P’s.
- Better childcare and greater access to supports for lone parents.
- Abolish Irish Water and water charges.
- Abolish the universal social charge.
- Prioritised medical cards for anyone diagnosed with a life threatening or long-term illness.
